Topics: Phylogenetics and Taxonomy

The Argyriini is a New World group of Lepidoptera comprising 41 species in two genera, Argyria (38 species) and Urola (3 species). This project consists in examining the phylogenetic relationships of some of the species of the two genera using morphological and DNA barcode data. New species will be described on the course of the project.
